Developmental Editing
Developmental editing is the deep dive into your manuscript. It's about looking at the big picture rather than the small details. While copy editing focuses on grammar and punctuation, developmental editing focuses on the core elements of your story or non-fiction work.

Beta Reader
A beta reader
is essentially a test audience for your work. They provide valuable feedback on a draft of your manuscript before it's professionally edited or published.
